Welcome to Nepal! On arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel in Dhulikhel and enjoy free time until your welcome dinner.
After early breakfast enjoy a 90 minute walk to Kavre Village via Kali Temple, famous for its breathtaking mountain views before returning to your hotel. Drive to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur to visit World Heritage listed Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Nyatapola Square.
Take an optional early morning scenic flight to Mt Everest. Spend the morning touring Kathmandu visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square formerly the palace of kings with unique architecture, monuments and temples. Continue to Patan for further exploration before lunch at a local restaurant. Meet with an ex-Kumari of Patan (living goddess) to understand life as a Kumari.
Tour Pashupatinath, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva situated on the banks of the River Bagmati. Continue to Boudhanath one of the largest Buddhist Stupas in the world. Visit Bamboo School which provides education to poor youth in Nepal. The afternoon is at leisure.
After breakfast fly to Pokhara, one of the most picturesque regions in Nepal. On arrival transfer your hotel. Enjoy an evening boat ride on Phewa Lake, Nepal’s second largest lake.
After breakfast enjoy a 3 hour walk to World Peace Pagoda. It’s hilltop location offers a spectacular view of the Annapurna ranges and Pokhara city. Continue to Davis Falls, the Tibetan Refugee camp and International Mountain Museum.
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your return flight to Kathmandu. On arrival transfer to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure before enjoying a traditional dinner with cultural performance.
